The Top Taiwan Handcraft Arts (TTHA) was founded in 2019 by three units, Taiwan Crafts Workshop, YII, and Taiwan Good Craft, jointly, under the guidance of the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute, Ministry of Culture, to enhance the competitiveness of the craft industry through Taiwan’s “all the various craft works”.<\/p>


The main purpose of the establishment of TTHA is to provide Taiwanese craftspersons with domestic and overseas marketing strategies, including exhibitions, online marketing, organization and training and so on, so that the collective power can be gained to let good products of the craftspersons be seen and the good business be developed sustainably.<\/p>


Two TTHA conventions have been held so far, and the current president who is also the founding chairman, Mr. Ye Zhicheng, has been re-elected. Under his leadership, over the past three years TTHA has actively promoted various conference affairs, continuously worked on the research, promotion, marketing and exchange activities of various crafts, committed to the promotion of Taiwanese craftsmanship under the guidance of the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute, actively invested in the marketing of the craft industry, and participated in various large-scale exhibitions at home and abroad, from the China Suzhou Cultural & Creative Design Cultural Industry Expo, China (Jindezhen) International Tea & Tea Industry Expo, China Jingdezhen International Ceramic Fair, Top Taiwan Handcraft Arts Exhibition in Xi’an Zhongda Department Store, Jiangsu Salt Lake City Craft Exhibition, Artist Experience Sharing in Xi’an Zhongda Department Store , to Familiarization Exhibition in Nanjing, Hebei, Shenzhen, Harbin, Xiamen, Jinjiang, Xi’an etc. In addition, we have stuck to the fundamentals and actively participated in various exhibitions held in various parts of Taiwan, such as life exhibitions, tea expo, and Top Taiwan Handcraft Arts Exhibition, to let more people at home and abroad get closer to the craftsmanship of Taiwan. On the other hand, the vulgarization, deepening and vitalization of craftsmanship can enrich people’s spiritual life and enhance cultural quality.<\/p>


There are currently 56 members of TTHA, including many outstanding craftspersons. They are expert in creation of various crafts, have had good performances in various craft competitions, and serve as judges of various competitions. We look forward to the continuous support and encouragement from all walks of life, and welcome to join TTHA as members. Let us work together to promote the development of our country’s crafts!<\/span><\/p>
